About Me:
I was born in the Netherlands and grew up in a small town with my parents and brother. My family came to faith when I was four and not long after that I received my (first) calling to missions. I completed my bachelor in primary education and after a few years of teaching experience I went to Africa and helped a small missions organisation to set up a pre-school and train local teachers.
In 2012, I joined a Christian organisation and after doing training I joined a ministry in South Africa working with vulnerable children and training preschool teachers. In 2015, I did my Coach-Mentoring Essentials course and started coaching discipleship training participants and later Africa Journey participants.
I have been working in Africa for more than a decade now. From 2017-2023 I worked as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator for Africa Area. In 2022, the ministry became an international ministry. I love to invest in new leaders and see them grow and gain confidence in the task that God has given them.

Main coach-mentoring focus:
Young leaders, especially those in children’s ministry. I also have mentored and coached new leaders in spiritual growth, leadership, and transition. People I mentor and lead say that I have a good balance between challenging and encouraging them.
My dreams/goal/vision...
Reaching people (especially children) with the love of Christ by equipping leaders to train and mentor those around them to minister to children and their families. To help the church to teach people (especially children) to read so that in time they can read the Bible.
I also enjoy seeing people grow and reach their full potential.
Things I love to do:
Cooking and baking, singing, photography, board games, hiking, traveling, and have coffee with my friends
One fun fact about me:
Some people sing in the shower…my favourite place to sing loud and without barriers is my car.
I believe Coach-Mentoring is important, because…
Many Biblical leaders invested in people around them and so should we!
