About Me:
I grew up in Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast before returning to my passport country, Germany at age 8. My family today is spread out over Asia and Europe. I studied business management in Germany (Ausbildung zum Bürokaufmann) and worked in a business consulting firm for 3 years.
In 2002, I joined an international NGO to teach English in Myanmar and assist with literacy projects in Nepal. After returning to Germany I helped coordinate TeenStreet, a large, international youth congress. I subsequently moved back to Southeast Asia in 2005 where my wife and I pioneered and oversaw various projects, social enterprises and business initiatives. We still live in Southeast Asia today and have four children.
I am a public speaker, published author and the owner of a small business. I am involved with various trainings on the topics of cross cultural intelligence, leadership development and am part of the faculty at www.ilcacoaching.com where we train leadership coaches.
I have been using coaching techniques ever since I have been in leadership. Eventually I discovered there is a name for this approach and a proven method!
As Executive Coach I have been coaching clients since 2018. I am a certified leadership coach with the International Leadership Coaching Academy, and am certified by the International Coaching Federation as Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with more than 500 hours of coaching experience. I have about 5 clients at any given time. My clients are senior leaders in international NGO’ and businesses and cross-cultural entrepreneurs. They come from all continents except Antarctica. Most live in other time zones and connect with me online, but I also coach in person.

Main coach-mentoring focus:
My special interest and coaching niche is assisting senior leaders and entrepreneurs pioneer and develop projects, executives in Business-As-Mission initiatives and leaders working in cross cultural settings throughout Asia to see them thrive.
My dreams/goal/vision...
To see vibrant workplace leadership creating vision, innovation and inspiration.
Things I love to do:
I like to read up on ‘productivity hacks’ – anything you know about task list apps or how to make your day at the office more efficient – I probably know it already. Which does not mean that I have been able to actually put them all into action, even if I wanted to! I also love to hang out with my family and their teenage friends as well as read.
One fun fact about me:
After completing my school I tried my luck as a singer in a punk band, worked as a bar tender and served with a youth ministry that organized concerts and and other events.
I believe Coach-Mentoring is important, because…
I have discovered the value of asking open questions, active listening and empowering clients, co-workers, staff and superiors by giving them the opportunity to own decisions and helping them see things from different angles.
