About Me:
Born and raised in Germany, I studied nursing after school and worked in a couple of hospitals, mostly in the operating theater. I am married to Urs [CH] who I met at Cornerstone Bible College [NL] and together we joined an NGO in the UK. Besides raising our two [by now adult] children and providing a home I started doing administrative jobs around the UK National office. Later I became the PA to the UK director and worked with him for 11+years. This gave me a deep insight into leadership issues and the things a diverse ministry may throw at you. Afterwards I did a short stint as personnel officer and moved into setting up an MDT course as well as teaching on this course. I have been involved in training and facilitating the Coach-Mentoring Essentials Course since 2017 and been walking with people more intentionally ever since. More recently. I have set up a team in our local church to provide coach-mentoring for the support and development of the membership and beyond.
Main coach-mentoring focus:
Life coaching, managing transitions, setting up a ministry/training, debriefing, ministry guidance, leadership issues
My dreams/goal/vision...
Walking with people, seeing them grow and/or come unstuck and discover more of what God has placed within them excites me no end. Providing a safe place, I love to use, cultivate, and model creativity to uncover beauty, call forth hidden treasures and invite authenticity.
Things I love to do:
Reading [mostly novels], singing, especially worship songs, I love beautiful things, nature, cooking/baking and eating of course 😊
One fun fact about me:
Most of the time I speak Denglish or Engman [depending where you come from] and unfortunately, most of the time I don’t even realise that I do it. Is it weird that I love flat pack furniture? [within reason]
I believe Coach-Mentoring is important, because…
It helps to get a wider perspective. Coach-mentoring opens up my line of vision, raises my horizon and reframes my perceived reality. God has placed us in community – coach-mentoring is community at its best.
