About Me:

I worked on the ships in the Mid-80s and have lived in Portugal since 1989. From 2010–2016 I was FL in Portugal.
Much of my work focus is with the International Leadership Coaching Academy (www.ilca.website). I am an ICF certified coach (PCC) and an EMCC Senior Practitioner Coach/Mentor (EIA, Senior Practitioner)
(www.coachingfederation.org, www.emccglobal.org)

Main coach-mentoring focus:

My main focus in coaching and mentoring is on leadership and emerging leadership development in intercultural teams. However, I enjoy partnering with all those who wish to invest in developing their own potential, no matter what their current context. I believe that coaching in collaboration with the transforming work of the Holy Spirit is powerful in facilitating significant and lasting change.

My dreams/goal/vision...

A huge passion I have is for influencing education through developing mentoring and coaching within the national education system. I desire to be salt and light as I work with teachers and educational leaders in Portugal. I also desire to see mentoring and coaching as part of discipleship in the local church to see the development and growth of national believers.

Things I love to do:

I enjoy Portuguese wine and connecting with new people.

One fun fact about me:

I invented an amazing black-bean and octopus stew! My own special recipe! Takes 2 days to make it.

I believe Coach-Mentoring is important, because…

It helps build self-awareness and contributes to personal growth. Coaching and mentoring take life from the intuitive where life just happens, towards the intentional where real growth can occur.
