About Me:
I am a Malaysian living in Malaysia, married with no children. Professionally, I trained and worked as a litigation lawyer in my home country. In terms of ministry experience, I have served as a personnel manager, an onsite and online training facilitator, a leadership developer, a coach-mentor, a worship musician and a preacher in my home country and in several East Asian countries. I have experienced ministry in both local and international team settings.
Main coach-mentoring focus:
Leadership development, discipleship, teamwork, cultural adjustment, transition, handling conflict. I am comfortable coach-mentoring persons of both genders and from cultures different to mine.
My dreams/goal/vision...
I am passionate about helping others grow in their God-given identity, gifting and potential. I intentionally provoke creativity and imagination in helping others gain different perspectives and explore new opportunities. I see myself as a journey companion, a thinking partner and an alongside encourager, as Barnabas was to Paul.
Things I love to do:
Drinking coffee, low-budget gardening, listening to jazz and global music, playing percussion instruments, observing and learning from different cultures.
One fun fact about me:
I once swam with stingrays that were 3 times the size of my body … and survived!
I believe Coach-Mentoring is important, because…
No one can go through life alone. We need one another on this journey. Coach-Mentoring is a powerful ‘alongside’ ministry that intentionally awakens, nurtures, sharpens and empowers a person to live out their God-given identity, gifting and potential.
