About Me:
I grew up in Hong Kong but I got chances to serve in different places for disaster relief and community development. I met my husband when I hosted a disaster relief training in Hong Kong. We then became good partners in different ministries. I have served in places like Sri Lanka, China, and Japan for earthquake and tsunami relief. Also, I went to serve in countries like Jordan, Turkey, Afghanistan, etc. After getting married, my husband and I started a community work among Pakistani Muslims in Hong Kong. I am now leading a team in Hong Kong to send and support workers serving in overseas.
Main coach-mentoring focus:
Woman in leadership role; Intercultural ministry; Community development; Mobilisation
My dreams/goal/vision...
I am now doing a Doctoral study in Education in Intercultural studies. My passion is to help people living out their potentials and help them serve our Lord better. I look forward to interacting with others in the field of intercultural ministries.
Things I love to do:
Movies, Reading, Study, Cooking, Quiet time.
One fun fact about me:
I had encouraged 4 of the youths in my church to participate in the Youth Olympics selection in break dancing. They have never learnt break dancing and they only had 3 months before the selection. I found a trainer for them and accompanied them the whole training. Amazingly, one of them was selected to represent Hong Kong to participate in the final selection after several competition.
I believe Coach-Mentoring is important, because…
We are all in a pilgrimage and we need people to walk along with us in this journey.
